THE STUDIO
The studio currently consists of a control room and recording room at the back wing of the house. The recording room has been completely treated with recycled wood and baffles, and also houses most of the outboard gear. The control room seats four people comfortably. During your time in the studio you are welcome to use any on the facilities in the rear wing of the house next to the studio as well as the seating area in the back-garden porch. There is a fridge for you to keep anything cold outside. If you need anything during the session, such as water, soda water, tea or coffee, please do not be afraid to ask. I am happy to provide anything I can to make your recording process easier.
Pickle is my little studio assistant and tends to pop her head in on all recordings. She is a boarder collie cross something, and is very timid but super friendly.
As for gear I am a mostly in the box studio operating with minimal outboard gear. I have a range of microphones to cater to all situations and run Protools as a DAW. I have a few guitars at my disposal, a midi keyboard with a modest set of piano and synth plugins, a mandolin and banjo.
